What does the Excel comparison show?▼
It highlights cells that differ between two spreadsheets: additions, deletions, and value changes. Each difference is color-coded so you can quickly see what changed between versions.
Can it compare sheets with different structures?▼
The tool compares cell by cell at the same row/column position. If rows or columns have been inserted or deleted between versions, the comparison may show more differences than expected. Align the structures first for best results.
Does it compare formulas or just values?▼
It compares the computed cell values, not the underlying formulas. Two cells with different formulas but the same result will appear identical.
