Edit PDF (Add Text)

Click anywhere on any page to place a text box, choose the font, size, and color, and add as many as you need across the whole document. Downloads a new PDF with your text flattened in. This adds new text on top of the page rather than rewriting existing text in the original content stream — the same approach most PDF editors use for anything beyond simple form fields.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add text anywhere on a PDF page?

Yes. Click anywhere on a page to place a text box, then type your content. You can adjust the font, size, and color. The text is added as an overlay on the existing content.

Can I edit the original text in a PDF?

This tool adds new text on top of existing content — it does not modify the original text layer. To obscure existing text, you can place an opaque rectangle over it and type replacement text on top.

Will the added text be searchable?

Yes. Text added through this tool is embedded as real text in the PDF, not as an image. It is fully searchable and selectable in any PDF reader.
