HEIC to JPG Converter
Upload one or more HEIC or HEIF files — the default photo format on modern iPhones and iPads — and convert them to universally compatible JPG images. HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) produces smaller files at equivalent quality, but many websites, email clients, and older software still can't open them. This tool decodes the HEIC container in your browser using the heic2any library and re-encodes each image as a high-quality JPG.
Multiple files are supported: select a batch, convert them all at once, and download each result individually or as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded to a server — the entire conversion happens client-side.

Frequently asked questions
What is HEIC and why can't I open it everywhere?▼
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on iPhones running iOS 11 or later. It uses the HEVC codec to store images at roughly half the file size of an equivalent JPEG, but support outside the Apple ecosystem is still uneven — many Windows apps, web platforms, and older software won't open HEIC files without an extra codec or conversion.
Does the conversion lose quality?▼
There is a small quality loss inherent in re-encoding to JPEG, since JPEG is a lossy format. This tool uses a 92% quality setting, which is high enough that the difference is imperceptible for photos — but if you need mathematically lossless output, convert to PNG instead.
Can I convert multiple files at once?▼
Yes — select or drag-drop as many HEIC/HEIF files as you like. They are converted sequentially in your browser and you can download them individually or as a single ZIP file.
